Weather Round-up for the Week of June 28th

Published by mpaulin at 1:00 pm under weather Edit This

We are now wrapping up a whole week of rain as we end this July 4th Independence Day weekend. A week ago the rains started and for Sunday the 28th of June, we had 0.09 inches of rain, the day was partly cloudy with a high of 68F and the low was 60F.

Monday was cloudy and we had0.54 inches of rain with a high of 72F and the low was 61F. Tuesday continued the rain and showers with 0.18 inches of rain and the high was 67F and the low was 60F. Wednesday was more of the same, almost identical to Tuesday with 0.19 inches of rain.

Thursday we had more rain and it was very heavy in the morning – we had 0.71 inches and the high for the day was 59F and the morning low was 56F. Friday was a welcome reprieve as the SUN came out out to visit for the day! The high on Friday reached 73F and the morning low was 56F and we had NO rain fall (some areas had a spot shower and a rumble of thunder). Saturday sunny and the possibility still remains for that pop up afternoon thunderstorm.

How much rain did you get? What was your weather like?
