Its’ A Hot One in Death Valley!
Where is the hottest place in the United States? If you answered Death Valley in California, you win the prize! Death Valley is the hottest (and the driest) place with the temperature having reached 134 degrees on July 10, 1915. Take a guess at what the average summer temperature is?
It was on February 9, 2006 that another record was set in Death Valley and that was the earliest in the year that the temperature hit 90 degrees, the previous record was February 12, 1996 when that day reached 90. I just do not think I would be interested in residing in Death Valley at any time of the year!
Well, if your mind has not been fried after thinking about the temperature in Death Valley, is a Mind Over Matter trivia. In 2005, researchers found that merely THINKING that medicine will relieve pain causes the brain to release its own natural painkillers.
