Hello world!

Published by mpaulin at 10:41 pm under Uncategorized Edit This

Welcome to Sciencefun on Today.com.

Happy Thanksgiving!  On this Thanksgiving Day in 2008, I launch my first ‘blog’ adventure.  This is new to me and I am sure that over the coming days and months that I will learn much about the world of blogging.  I want my blogs and posts to be informative, educational, and fun.  Part of this process is to learn blogging myself as my employer has the desire to add a ‘business’ blog to its corporate website after the first of the year.  Therefore, I thought that since I will most likely be proctoring this ‘business’ blog, that I should jump in and run a blog myself and learn the ins and outs of what to do and what not to do.

I chose sciencefun for the name of my blog because I have a wide variety of interests from meteorology to astronomy to the world of electronic gadgets.  I am an amateur radio operator and I work with our local Red Cross chapter and the National Weather Service Skywarn program.  I also enjoy hiking and exploring the great outdoors and I do this global adventure game called - Geocaching.  History is a fun subject for me and I will occasionally throw in a history lesson or two into the blog.

I welcome your comments and suggestions to make my blogs informative and something that you will enjoy.  Visit often and again, welcome to Sciencefun! Smile
